CPA Mark Erickson Elected President Of CalCPA Inland Empire Chapter
Mark Erickson, CPA, of the United Way of the Inland Valleys has been elected president of the Inland Empire Chapter of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants for 2008 – 09. He succeeds Renee Miller, CPA, an accounting professor at the University of La Verne.
The CalCPA Inland Empire Chapter serves more than 1,100 members primarily in San Bernardino and Riverside counties. They specialize in a broad range of services — from business consulting and personal financial planning to tax and estate planning.
The United Way’s chief financial officer, Erickson previously served as the chapter’s second vice president. He is a resident of Alta Loma.
Erickson holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration from California State University, San Bernardino. He joined the United Way earlier this year, after having served as the financial services manager for CSUSB since 2002.
Joining Erickson on the board of the Inland Empire Chapter are Evan R. Strano (first vice president) of Krieger & Stewart, Riverside; Johanna Sweaney Salt (second vice president) of Johanna S. Salt, CPA, Claremont; Andy Anderson (secretary) of Gordon Anderson Consulting, Chino Hills; and Lynette E. Atchley, CPA, PFS, CFP, (treasurer) a sole practitioner in Redlands.
