Kristine Caratan—Experienced Leader
Kristine Caratan is a partner in the Not For Profit Service Group at Moss Adams LLP in San Francisco. She has been in the profession for thirty-four years, and is given accolades for her role as a mentor. She is a member of the AICPA, CalCPA, and AWSCPA, CSCPA as well as her involvement with the California State Board of Accountancy, Bankers Club of San Francisco and her alma mater, Santa Clara University.
Kristine is involved with Beta Alpha Psi, serving as a member of the National Advisory Forum, as both the AWSCPA and then the Moss Adams representative, its vice chair and eventually its chair, and As chair and Vice Chair, she was a member of the national board of directors. She also headed and is the ongoing coordinator for “Project Run With It”, a project that pairs Beta Alpha Psi students with nonprofit groups to help problem-solve the issues facing that non profit. Geralyne Mahoney—Experienced Leader
Geralyne Mahoney is a partner at Burr Pilger Mayer in San Francisco. Geralyne joined the firm in 1987 as an assurance manager, and was promoted to partner in 2002. In the early 1990’s she created the Roundtable Series for Nonprofit organizations, which is a twice annual series of seminars providing vital information and training to nonprofit organizations throughout the bay area.
Geralyne was the Conference Chair for the AICPA National non-for-profit Financial Executive Forum, past president of the Financial Women’s Association of San Francisco, past board member for the Medical Research Agencies of America and the California Association of Nonprofits, and a current board member for the Hanna Boys Center and the Northern California Planned Giving Council.

Kristine Stromeyer—Experienced Leader
Kristine Stromeyer is the first female partner at Rothstein Kass in Beverly Hills. Recognized for her exemplary achievements, she was promoted to principal in 2005. She is involved with many of the firm’s development initiatives including serving on the firms Best Practices and CPE committees. She is acknowledged for her ability to grow future leaders through recruitment and mentorship.
Kristine is a member of CalCPA, AICPA, Hedge Funds Care and is one of the inaugural members of the 100 women in Hedge Funds. Kristine also serves on an event planning committee for the Los Angeles Chapter Hedge Funds Care, an industry of professionals committed to the protection of children from abuse and neglect, and also is on the board of the Maple Counseling Center, a nonprofit mental health agency that provides low fee counseling to people in need.

Marie Ebersbacher—Emerging Leader
Marie Ebersbacher is a shareholder with Meyer Hoffman McCann P.C in Los Angeles. Marie is not only a CPA but also accredited in Business Valuation, Certified Fraud Examiner and is certified in financial forensics. She is described as the “spirit of the office" having created the firm's Fun Committee, created the Tax Season kick off party, as well as organizing the Annual Litigation Conference for the firm. Marie is also a wife and mother of two young boys, and is praised for her role as a mentor within the firm.
Marie is a member of the AICPA’s ABV Credential committee, and an AICPA ABV mentor. She is a member of the CalCPA litigation steering committee, is the immediate past chair of the State Fraud Section, and was past president of the Bakersfield chapter.
Some of the words her colleagues have used to describe her are driven, enthusiastic, clever and a great teacher, guide and mentor.

Natalie Quan, CPA

Natalie Quan—Emerging Leader
Natalie Quan is a senior staff member at Berger/Lewis Accounting Corp. She began with Berger/Lewis in 2006 and has quickly climbed from staff accountant, to senior accountant, to Audit manager. She is described as having the “last to leave” attitude on any project, and has proven herself to be a great role model, exemplary leader and a strong team ethic. Within her firm, she is a part of the Green Business committee, and is also a large part of the firms recruiting efforts and an active volunteer.
Natalie is also active within CalCPA, serving on the Young and Emerging Professionals state committee, as well as chairing her local YEP committee for three years. Natalie has given back to her community by volunteering with the Family Giving Tree, as well as the humane society and the Southern California Dachshund Rescue. Natalie is described as an inspirational leader, well liked and respected, and a great role model.
