San Luis Obispo CPA Elected President Of CalCPA Central Coast Chapter

Kevin Jackson, CPA, of CygNet Software, San Luis Obispo, has been elected president of the Central Coast Chapter of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA) for 2009 – 10. Jackson succeeds J. Russell Roy, CPA, of Roy & O’Connor, Paso Robles.

The CalCPA Central Coast Chapter serves 450 members in San Luis Obispo County and northern Santa Barbara County. They specialize in a broad range of services — from business consulting and personal financial planning to tax and estate planning.

Previously the chapter’s vice president, Jackson is CygNet Software’s accounting manger. The company provides enterprise operations software and solutions for the oil and gas industries.

Jackson holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.

Joining Jackson on the board of the CalCPA Central Coast Chapter are Karan C. Pohl (vice president/treasurer) of Coast National Bank, San Luis Obispo, and Brooke A. Salvini (secretary) of Salvini Financial Planning, San Luis Obispo.
