Susan Jacobson Elected President Of CalCPA Channel Counties Chapter

Susan P. Jacobson of Holthouse, Carlin & Van Trigt, LLP, Westlake Village, has been elected president of the Channel Counties Chapter of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA) for 2009 – 10. Jacobson succeeds Thomas A. Letus, CPA, of Automotive Performance Systems, Camarillo.

The CalCPA Channel Counties Chapter serves more than 750 members in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties. They specialize in a broad range of services — from business consulting and personal financial planning to tax and estate planning.

As tax principal with HCVT, Jacobson provides corporate tax and consulting services for large multi-state closely held and publicly held companies. Her firm’s services also include litigation support, financial planning, auditing and business consulting services.

Johnson holds a master’s degree in taxation from California State University, Northridge, and bachelor’s degree in accounting from CSUN.

Joining Jacobson on the board of the CalCPA Channel Counties Chapter are Patricia K. Krout (first vice president) of McGowan Guntermann CPAs, Santa Barbara; Gail H. Anikouchine (second vice president) of MacFarlene, Faletti & Co., Santa Barbara; Jeffrey R. Dottl (secretary) of Pyne, Waltrip, Decker & McCoy, Ventura; and Prajesh Acharya (treasurer) of Soares, Sandall, Bernacchi, & Petrovich, Oxnard.
