CPA Evan Strano Elected President Of CalCPA Inland Empire Chapter

Evan R. Strano, CPA, of Krieger & Stewart, Riverside, has been elected president of the Inland Empire Chapter of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants for 2009 – 10. He succeeds Mark Erickson, CPA, of the United Way of the Inland Valleys.

The CalCPA Inland Empire Chapter serves more than 1,250 members primarily in San Bernardino and Riverside counties. They specialize in a broad range of services — from business consulting and personal financial planning to tax and estate planning.

Strano previously served as the chapter’s first vice president.

A resident of Upland, Strano is the finance director at Krieger & Stewart, a civil engineering firm specializing in water and wastewater projects.
Strano holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Oral Roberts University, Tulsa, Okla.

Joining Strano on the board of the Inland Empire Chapter are Johanna Sweaney Salt (first vice president) of Kaufman, Schmid Gray & Salt, LLP, Claremont; Kathy Johnson (second vice president) of Inland Newspapers, San Bernardino; Andy Anderson (secretary) of A-Z Bus, Colton; and Lynette E. Atchley, CPA, PFS, CFP, (treasurer) a sole practitioner in Redlands.
