Brian Rush Elected President Of Orange County/Long Beach CalCPA Chapter
Brian Rush, CPA, of Cobham Analytic Solutions, Lake Forest, has been elected president of the Orange County/Long Beach Chapter of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA) for 2009 – 10. He succeeds Monica Rebella, CPA, owner of Rebella Accountancy, Tustin.
The CalCPA Orange County/Long Beach Chapter serves more than 4,200 members who specialize in a broad range of services — from business consulting and personal financial planning to tax and estate planning.
A resident of Tustin, Rush previously was the chapter’s first vice president. He is the internal audit manager for Cobham, which provides technical products and services to the defense, intelligence and homeland security sectors of the federal government.
Rush holds a bachelor’s degree in math and physics from Purdue University. He is treasurer of the Orange Coast Interfaith Shelter and also treasurer and risk officer of the Purdue Club of Los Angeles and Orange counties.
Joining Rush on the board of the CalCPA Orange County/Long Beach Chapter are Jeff S. Lenning (first vice president) of Click Consulting, Seal Beach; Dolores D. Lara (second vice president) of Hemingway Solutions, Aliso Viejo; Kevin C. Harley (treasurer) of Windes & McClaughry, Long Beach; and Thomas C. Bennett (secretary) of Squar, Milner, Peterson, Miranda & Williamson, Newport Beach.
