CalCPA San Francisco Chapter Elects Gandi New President

Jamshed B. Gandi, CPA. CVA. CFP, of San Francisco has been elected president of the San Francisco Chapter of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA) for 2009 – 10. He succeeds Jerry Sample, CPA, of San Francisco.

The CalCPA San Francisco Chapter serves almost 4,000 members in San Francisco, Marin, Sonoma, Mendocino and Humboldt counties. They specialize in a broad range of services — from business consulting and personal financial planning to tax and estate planning.

A partner in the firm of Bertorelli, Gandi, Won & Behti, Gandi previously served as the chapter’s first vice president. His firm provides such services as audit and attest, tax planning and compliance, and business valuation.

Gandi is a graduate of the University of Karachi, Pakistan, and holds a master’s degree in taxation from Golden Gate University.

Joining Gandi on the board of the CalCPA San Francisco Chapter are Karen D. Pfau-Martinez (first vice president) of Burr, Pilger & Mayer, LLP, San Francisco; Laura L. Ross (second vice president) of Harb, Levy & Weiland, LLP, San Francisco; S. Scott Seamands (secretary) of Lindquist, Von Husen & Joyce, LLP, San Francisco; and Jed K. Greene (treasurer) of Seiler, LLP, San Francisco.
