CPA Donna S. Bumgarner Elected President Of CalCPA Silicon Valley San Jose Chapter
Donna S. Bumgarner, CPA, of Petrinovich Pugh & Company LLP, San Jose, has been elected president of the Silicon Valley San Jose Chapter of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA) for 2009 – 10. She succeeds David F. Veyna, CPA, of Veyna & Forschino, San Jose.
The CalCPA Silicon Valley San Jose Chapter serves more than 2,600 members in Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Monterey and San Benito counties. They provide a broad range of services — from business consulting and personal financial planning to tax and estate planning.
Bumgarner previously was the chapter’s vice president. She is a director at Petrinovich Pugh & Co. which provides financial, tax and business consulting services.
Bumgarner holds a bachelor’s degree and a lifetime teaching credential from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo; an MBA from Santa Clara University; and a master’s in taxation from San Jose State University.
Joining Bumgarner on the board of the CalCPA Silicon Valley San Jose chapter are Ben C. Towne (vice president) of Berger/Lewis, San Jose; David J. Neighbors (secretary) of Johanson & Yau, San Jose; and Philip R. Hulme (treasurer) of Ruzzo, Scholl & Murphy, Campbell.
