Danville CPA Receives Award for Services to Profession
REDWOOD CITY, Calif. — Danville, Calif., CPA Mary Kay Foss has received the 2009 Saul Braverman Award from the California Society of CPAs (CalCPA).
CalCPA’s Committee on Taxation annually presents the award to a CalCPA member who has made exceptional contributions to the accounting profession in the tax field.
A director with the firm of Greenstein, Rogoff, Olsen & Co., Foss has more than 30 years of experience in tax, retirement, income and estate planning issues. She is a frequent lecturer for community, professional and business groups. She has authored and presented courses for CPAs and other tax professionals throughout California through the California CPA Education Foundation and other organizations.
Foss also is a past chair of the CalCPA Estate Planning Committee and the Committee on Taxation. She is a member of Danville Rotary and treasurer of the Hospice of the East Bay Foundation.
