CalCPA Sacramento Elects
Anjela DeRosa Chapter President
SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Anjela DeRosa, CPA, of Carmichael has been elected president of the Sacramento chapter of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA) for 2011 – 12. DeRosa succeeds David R. Chavez, CPA, of Sacramento.
The CalCPA Sacramento Chapter serves 2,400 members in Alpine, Amador, Sacramento and Solano counties. They provide a broad range of services — from business consulting and personal financial planning to tax and estate planning.
A business assurance manager in Moss Adams’ Rancho Cordova’s office, DeRosa was previously the chapter’s vice president. Her firm provides audit, tax and consulting services to clients in the health care, manufacturing and distribution, food processing and agriculture, construction and real estate, financial and telecommunications industries.
DeRosa has a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from California State University, Sacramento, and a master’s degree in accountancy from Golden Gate University. San Francisco.
Joining DeRosa on the board of the CalCPA Sacramento Chapter are David B. Boyce (vice president) of Brown, Fink, Boyce & Astle, Sacramento, and Perry Ghilarducci of Avaunt Ltd., CPAs & Consultants, Sacramento.
The California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA) (www.calcpa.org) is the nation’s largest state accounting organization and the largest CPA association in California. It serves 37,000 members in public practice, private industry, education and government. Through CalCPA Institute, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, CalCPA members provide financial literacy programs to high schools and community groups.
