CalCPA Presents Bartlett, Pringle & Wolf
With Public Service Award for Firms
For services to the community, the California Society of CPAs (CalCPA) has presented its 2011 Public Service Award for Firms to Bartlett, Pringle & Wolf, LLP, (BPW) Santa Barbara.
CalCPA annually presents the award to recognize a firm for its public service contributions on the local, state or national level. The award intends to encourage more CPA firms to initiate or increase their community activities, publicize these activities and reinforce the profession’s reputation for commitment to the public good.
Pam Kelty, CPA and chair of the PSA selection committee, praised BPW for its sponsorship and support of more than 50 nonprofit programs, including the United Way Fun in the Sun program, the Alzheimer’s Association, and Unity Shoppe, which helps underprivileged families.
BPW was named by Accounting Today as one of 2010’s “best accounting firms to work for.” Staff members sit on several boards and committees of nonprofit organizations.
