CPA Norman Wong Elected
President of CalCPA Fresno Chapter
May 23, 2013 — Norman R. Wong, CPA, of Dunn, Jeffries, Hering & Wong has been elected president of the Fresno Chapter of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA) for 2013 – 14. He succeeds Timothy W. Baker of Watts Campbell Chi & Baker.
The CalCPA Fresno Chapter serves more than 1,200 members in Fresno, Inyo, Tulare, Kings and Madera counties. They offer a broad range of services — from business consulting and personal financial planning to tax and estate planning.
Formerly the chapter’s vice president, Wong is a partner in the firm of Dunn, Jeffries, Hering & Wong. The firm provides such services as technology consulting, small business consulting, tax preparation, and bookkeeping and payroll services.
Wong holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from California State University, Fresno. He is a member of the board of the Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association in Fresno.
Joining Wong on the board of the CalCPA Fresno Chapter are Sally M. Cook (vice president) of Baker, Peterson and Franklin; Arthur Moye (treasurer) of MBS Accountancy Corp.; and Kathleen Bates (secretary) of Torosian & Walter.
