CalCPA Presents Patricia Cochran with Its Distinguished Service Award
(July 7, 2014) For services to her profession, the California Society of CPAs (CalCPA) has presented Patricia Cochran, CPA, with its Distinguished Service Award.
Cochran, who resides in McArthur, California, served as president of the CalCPA Education Foundation from 2007 to 2008. In 2009, she retired as chief financial officer of VSP (Vision Service Plan), Rancho Cordova.
CalCPA annually presents the Distinguished Service Award to an individual who has provided long and distinguished service or who has performed a singular act resulting in extraordinary contributions to the accounting profession, to CalCPA or to the community.
Cochran has been involved in developing and planning the Education Foundation’s health care conferences. She has served on the AICPA Council and as an AICPA board member and has chaired it audit committee. She also is a trustee of the Group Insurance Trust and of the AICPA Foundation
