July 9, 2007Violeta D. Cristobal New President Of CalCPA Los Angeles ChapterREDWOOD CITY, Calif. — Violeta D. Cristobal, CPA, of Pacific Palisades has been elected president of the 9,000-member Los Angeles chapter of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA) for 2007 – 08. Cristobal succeeds Timothy J. Good, CPA, of Palos Verdes. Previously Cristobal was the chapter’s first vice president. The CalCPA Los Angeles chapter serves CPAs who specialize in a broad range of services — from business consulting and personal financial planning to tax and estate planning. Cristobal has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business education from Polytechnic University of the Philippines, Manila, and has taken accounting and related courses at UCLA. She is the treasurer for the Filipino American Heritage Institute and a past president of the Philippine American Society of CPAs. Joining Cristobal on the board of the CalCPA Los Angeles Chapter are John Samore III (first vice president) of True Partners Consulting, Los Angeles; Jenny Bolsky (vice president) of Miller Kaplan Arase & Co., North Hollywood; Barry Hensiek (vice president) of Hensiek & Caron CPAs, Pasadena; Marianne Sfreddo (secretary), a sole practitioner in Marina del Rey; and Dan Delaney (treasurer/budget chair) of Willner & Ornedo, Encino.
