July 9, 2007CPA Adrienne Cantrell Elected President of CalCPA Fresno ChapterREDWOOD CITY, Calif. — Adrienne Cantrell, CPA, has been elected president of the Fresno Chapter of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA) for 2007 – 08. Cantrell succeeds Anthony R. Forestiere, CPA. Previously Cantrell served as the chapter’s vice president. The CalCPA Fresno Chapter serves more than 800 members in Fresno, Inyo, Tulare, Kings and Madera counties. They specialize in a broad range of services — from business consulting and personal financial planning to tax and estate planning. Cantrell is the director of administration for Baker, Peterson & Franklin, CPA, LLP. The firm specializes in advising closely held and family businesses in various industries, including agriculture and auto dealerships. They also provide tax and estate planning, computer consulting and auditing. Cantrell has a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from California State University, Fresno. She is a past board member of the Fresno Chapter of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Joining Cantrell on the board of the CalCPA Fresno Chapter are Denise M. Patterson (vice president) of California State University, Fresno; Sheryl M. Yardumian (secretary) of Noell Agnew & Morse LLP, Fresno; and Elaine Reule (treasurer) of M. Green and Co., LLP, Tulare.
