Oxnard Resident Elected President Of CalCPA Channel Counties Chapter
REDWOOD CITY, Calif. — Juan M. Soto, CPA, of Oxnard has been elected president of the Channel Counties Chapter of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA) for 2006 – 07. Soto succeeds Michael Eulau, CPA, of Ventura.
Soto previously served the chapter as its first vice president.
The CalCPA Channel Counties Chapter serves more than 700 members in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties. They specialize in a broad range of services — from business consulting and personal financial planning to tax and estate planning.
Soto is a partner in the firm of Soares, Sandall, Bernacchi & Petrovich LLP, Oxnard. His firm provides tax planning and preparation, audits, reviews, compilations and other services to businesses and individuals.
Soto has a bachelor’s degree in business administration (accounting) from CaliforniaStateUniversity, Northridge, and a master’s in taxation from Golden GateUniversity, San Francisco.
He is a member of the board of directors of the Rotary Club of Ventura.
Joining Soto on the board of the CalCPA Channel Counties Chapter are Cindy Young (first vice president) of Nusil Technology, Carpinteria; Thomas A. Letus (second vice president), Automotive Performance Systems, Camarillo; Susan Jacobson (secretary) of Holthouse, Carlin & Van Trigt LLP, WestlakeVillage; and Patricia K.
