Loma Linda CPA Elected President Of CalCPA Inland Empire Chapter

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. — Scott Hofferber, CPA, of Loma Linda has been elected president of the Inland Empire Chapter of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants for 2006 – 07. Hofferber succeeds Chad Porter, CPA, of Grand Terrace.

 

Previously Hofferber served as the chapter’s first vice president.

 

The CalCPA Inland Empire Chapter serves more than 1,000 members in San Bernardino and Riverside counties. They specialize in a broad range of services — from business consulting and personal financial planning to tax and estate planning.

 

A controller for Farmdale Creamery in San Bernardino, Hofferber has bachelor’s degrees in accounting and in mathematics from the University of Redlands and a master’s in business administration from the University of Phoenix.

 

Joining Hofferber on the board of the Inland Empire Chapter are Renee H. Miller (first vice president) of the University of LaVerne; Dr. Clifford Y. Baugh (second vice president) of Matrix Financial Services, Rancho Cucamonga; Andy Anderson (secretary) of Gordon Anderson Consulting, Chino; and Lucia A. Powell (treasurer) of Soren McAdam Christenson, Redlands.
