Who We Are
The California Certified Public Accountants Education Foundation
(founded in 1966) is a 501(c)(3) organization.
The Education Foundation is overseen by a 15-member
Board
of Trustees that meets to set policies, strategies, goals
and financial parameters. Trustees are elected annually by a nominating
committee.They may serve a maximum of three two-year terms. Included on
the Board are CalCPA/Education Foundation CEO,
current CalCPA chair and the immediate past president of
the Foundation

continuing professional education for CPAs and financial professionals.
Mission:
Through innovation and in partnership with the CPA profession, we
deliver quality education and build knowledge to foster excellence and
advance individuals and the profession.

Our Partners
California Society of CPAs
is dedicated to increasing the value and promoting the integrity of the
CPA profession, while advocating on behalf of its more than 36,000
members in public practice, industry,education and government. CalCPA
members benefit from special Education Foundation discounts, including:

CalCPA member pricing on Education Foundation-produced CPE events
and products.

CalCPA members who are full-time accounting educators receive
complimentary admission into Education Foundation-produced events.

CalCPA life members receive a 50 percent discount on all Education
Foundation-produced events. The discount applies to VP membership but
does not include discount coupons or CPE products.

First-time CalCPA members receive a voucher for one complimentary
admission into an Education Foundation-produced event, valid for a
one-year period.
The California Board of Accountancy
works to protect the public welfare by ensuring that only qualified
persons are licensed and that appropriate standards of competency and
practice are established and enforced. The Education Foundation follows
the CPE Guidelines of the CBA and provides courses which qualify in any
required area of CPE as published by the Board.
