Pilot Program / Technical Review

Self-study courses in the Pilot Program are FREE or SUBSTANTIALLY DISCOUNTED to Pilot Participants. You will be required to:

  1. Complete the course (including passing the final exam using our Online Grading Tool)
  2. Keep track of your time spent working through the material
  3. Fill out a detailed evaluation of the course using our Online Evaluation
  4. Send us a copy of your resume and time log

We are looking for technical reviewers to review our live courses,online courses and recorded webcasts. You can receive free CPE credit for any course you technically review.

Policies

You have one year from date-of-purchase to complete your online course and pass the final exam. (You are allowed three attempts to pass the final.)

Grading

Online grading is included in the price of each online course. The minimum passing score is 70% (except for California ethics courses where a score of 90% is required).

Note: All Education Foundation self-study and online courses qualify as interactive self-study

Education Foundation courses are developed to meet national and state guidelines so our courses can be accepted for CPE in all states. Courses comply with the statement on standards for formal self-study programs [National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA)] CPE Standards and CPE Fields of Study.

The Education Foundation has entered into program sponsor agreements with the following state boards of accountancy: Alabama, District of Columbia, Illinois (158-000444), Indiana (CE9200025), Maryland (E-843), New Jersey (CE000164), New York (000224), North Carolina (86-0072), and Texas (02453).

The following states do not issue formal sponsor agreements; however, our courses were designed to meet these states’ requirements.
Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming. Note: Florida, Oregon, and Tennessee require courses be QAS approved. These courses are not currently QAS approved.

The Education Foundation is registered with NASBA as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors (sponsor #104822). State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.
