CPE Requirement Changes
Effective Jan. 1, 2010
- 20 hours of CPE required annually—at least 12 of which must be technical (reporting starts with Jan. 1, 2012 renewals).
- 4 hours of ethics per renewal cycle.
- 2 hours Regulatory Review ethics every six years.
- CPAs who don't take CPE to stay active, must disclose their status as CPA (inactive).
