PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
What Does the (Economic) Future Hold?
Greetings members and friends! I hope this finds you rested from the Thanksgiving break and looking forward to a festive holiday season and successful new year.
Please make plans to attend (and invite clients and guests) the Ninth Annual OC Economic Forecast 2008 breakfast with renowned Chapman University economist Esmael Adibi. The event will take place Wednesday, Jan. 23 at the Westin South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa.
Adibi will review his 2007 prognostications and deliver his insightful 2008 predictions in an educational and engaging manner. You can be sure that the credit market and residential housing will receive ample attention this year. Chapman’s 2007 report marks the 30th anniversary of the study, which attempts to predict the economic future of Orange County, California and the nation.
Adibi, director of the Anderson Center at Chapman, joined the university’s faculty in 1978 as an economist. He holds the A. Gary Anderson Chair in Economic Analysis and spearheads the research for the annual Chapman Economic Forecast.
Our company purchases a table each year and hosts a variety of clients and friends who consistently voice their satisfaction with the event and request a recurring invitation. I’m confident that both you and your guests will appreciate Adibi’s perspective and will use the information to influence your own business decisions in the coming year.
Check the website and look for a mailed invitation and RSVP as soon as possible as this event sells out each year.
I wish you happy holidays and a productive new year.
Cheers,
—Wendy Richards, CPA, CITP
