PN Nonprofit Committee: Questions About the New Form 990 - Discussion Meeting (I2031109)

Continuing prevous discussions of the new Form 990, the Non-Profit Committee will discuss and attempt to answer questions that are being asked about the New Form 990. Will the new Form 990 actually minimize the filling burden for non-profits as the IRS Claims? Or will it force preparers to move more non-profits to the Form 990EZ? Is there a negative impact on grant applications for filing Form 990EZ? How can practioners help smaller clients meet the increased governance requirements of the new Form 990? As time permits, the Committee will also review in more detail some of the supporting Schedules the New Form 990 requires.
