For the third year running, join our Emerging Professionals to volunteer at the Second Harvest Food Bank Peninsula Distribution Center. Arrive at 6:00 p.m. and we'll have pizza and sodas for you, then we'll work together sorting and packing food from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. - training will be provided at the beginning of the session, no previous experience is required and all chapter members are invited - not just Emerging Professionals.
The dress code is casual: closed toe shoes and long pants are required. No purses or backpacks allowed: please leave all valuables in the trunk of your car. You will be required to sign a Volunteer Agreement: if you wish to see this in advance, please contact Jane Dunbar at jane.dunbar@calcpa.org for a copy. Adults only please; we are strictly limited to the first 25 volunteers to register.
