I am seeking an entry to mid level Tax Accountant or Staff Accounting position as a CPA candidate with a full service firm in the Salinas, Monterey, Santa Cruz, Watsonville areas.
Earlier this year, I passed my Enrolled Agent exams and also continuing to maintain my California Registered Tax Preparer status. In the last couple of years at my own expense I have taken approximately 200 hours of CPE in order to maintain and improve my professional knowledge as well as staying current on tax law.
Additionally, since my undergraduate degree is in economics from the London School of Economics, I have been taking the accounting and tax courses necessary to sit for the California CPA exam. I will be a qualified candidate after this semester.
I have several years’ experiences as a tax professional, the last two and half with a full service CPA firm performing increasingly complex and technical duties. Additionally, I have experiences working in finance and accounting for county government.
I believe my experiences as a tax accountant and the skills and knowledge I have acquired through my professional and academic endeavors would make me productive and profitable long term employee for any firm. My resume follows.
Thank your for you time and consideration.
