I am a mid-career professional and CPA Candidate (have passed all four sections of the CPA Exam in 2009) seeking to transition from the volatile technology & financial services industries into the field of accounting. I seek permanent or seasonal employment with a CPA Firm in the San Francisco Bay Area. My industry experience includes strategic & financial planning roles, including the reporting of key operating and financial metrics to executive-level management in a $1+ Billion publicly held technology company. Earlier I served in sales & marketing roles and have extensive revenue generation & forecasting experience, meeting aggressive revenue growth objectives (411% in three years) in a public technology company. This operational experience makes me well suited for audit and consulting engagements.
My investment & tax-related experience includes the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) Charter, service as a General Securities & Registered Options Principal for a major broker/dealer (I previously held NASD/FINRA Series 4, 7, 24, 63 & 65 Licenses), and work as a Registered Investment Advisor Representative. Recently I registered as a CRTP (CTEC Registered Tax Preparer) leveraging a number of years experience filing my personal tax returns, including 1040, Schedules A - E, K1, 1120S & CA540. As a seasoned investor I have over two decades experience in managing portfolio investments including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and real estate holdings. These experiences make me well suited for personal financial planning roles.
Please find my resume below for your consideration. Employment inquiries and/or referrals are appreciated.
