Fisher Investments is a privately-held investment management firm headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area managing portfolios for high-net-worth private clients and some of the world's preeminent institutions.
We are presently seeking a highly talented individual to join our team as a Senior Tax Accountant to support our growing and dynamic Finance Department.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Assist in the preparation and review of domestic and international tax computations, filings, and transfer pricing studies
- Collaborate with outside CPA firms to manage tax provisions, compliance, and planning
- Research tax rules and regulations on income, VAT, and business taxes
- Prepare use and property tax returns and maintain tax ledgers
- Work with the Finance team to implement diverse projects to support the firm’s long-term strategic goals
- Develop, implement and maintain company policies and procedures
- Automate and improve existing processes and methodologies
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience. CPA required
- Intermediate to advanced Excel and database skills
- Excellent communication skills
- 5+ years progressive multi-state domestic/international tax experience in both public and private sectors
- Experience with an international money manager or similar financial services business
