Our client, the US subsidiary of an international designer and manufacturer of high-end architecture for kitchens and other living spaces, seeks a passionate, creative and team-oriented professional to serve as Controller.

THIS IS A VERY HANDS-ON POSITION THAT WILL SUPERVISE ONLY ONE STAFF MEMBER.

We are seeking a motivated, self-starter with 4-6 years of relevant experience to oversee and coordinate all financial accounting and analysis of US operations.   Qualified individuals will have a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or related field.  Certification as a CPA or CMA is a plus.

Reporting directly to the President & CEO of the US operations, with dotted-line accountability to the international parent CFO, this position will be responsible for maintaining the financial records for US entity and for working closely with both internal parties and external service providers, including auditors, tax advisors, and third-party outsourced HR partners.

Additionally, the Controller will develop ad hoc analyses of store operations and other financial/operational metrics to help guide senior management in business decisions designed to maximize returns and maintain the company’s high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

In keeping with their philosophy of keeping a lean and relatively flat organizational structure, the Controller will be part of a small US headquarters’ team and will supervise one staff member. Occasional travel to the company’s major market showrooms is required.
