1989–October 2008 ZENDEX CORPORATION Dublin, CA
Owner, President and CEO (June 1999-October 2008)
As owner, President and CEO of Zendex Corporation, led and managed the day-to-day operations of Zendex Corporation, an Embedded Systems Industry company; maintained profitability for 10 consecutive years. Due to the recent economic downturn in the global economy, closed the company, successfully winding down operations by selling product lines, designs and equipment. Provided employees, all of whom were loyal and long-term, with a generous severance package.
President (1998-1999)
Appointed President of Zendex Corporation by the Owner and Board of Directors in 1998, after successfully serving as Chief Financial Officer since 1989. Managed the day-to-day operations, planned and instituted operational strategies to improve profitability. Purchased the Company in June 1999.
Chief Financial Officer (1989-1998)
Responsible for all financial reporting and controls of the Company. Successfully managed banking and credit lines through a bank failure in the early 1990’s and subsequent FDIC intervention. Able to negotiate credit line debt with the FDIC and obtain a new credit line with another bank.
