Audit Partner, KPMG LLP

Jennifer is an Audit partner in KPMG’s Santa Clara Technology, Media and Telecommunications practice, specializing in software and software as a service companies. She has more than 17 years of experience providing financial statement audit and audit of internal control services.

Jennifer has provided professional audit services to several large companies in accordance with PCAOB requirements and U.S. GAAP. Her audit experience ranges from SEC filings, SOX 404, and reporting matters such as equity transactions, business combinations, and foreign currency transactions. She has a thorough understanding of SEC rules and regulations and has been involved in debt and equity offerings as well as foreign filings.

Jennifer participated in a rotation to KPMG’s Global Services Center in New Jersey from 2004 – 2006, where she worked with KPMG’s global and U.S. leadership. She also assisted with KPMG’s implementation of PCAOB Auditing Standard No. 5. As part of these projects, she traveled both domestically and internationally to various KPMG locations to assist with training and implementation.

Her technical skills include extensive experience with software revenue recognition, including assisting clients with the implementation of ASU 2009-13. She served as a KPMG National Instructor providing technical training to audit professionals, and has been a Statistical Sampling Specialist since 2007.

In 2013, Jennifer was recognized as one of Silicon Valley Business Journal’s 100 Women of Influence. Her other activities include co-chair of KPMG’s Network of Women (KNOW) Santa Clara Chapter, executive board of KPMG’s Baseball program bringing baseball clinics to YMCA South San Jose in conjunction with the Oakland Athletics, Lead Audit Recruiting Partner for KPMG Santa Clara office, and member of Accounting Advisory Board for California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
