Jessica has practiced public accounting since 2000, including seven years of experience at the French accounting firm Mazars, where she remains a partner in addition to her role at Moss Adams.In her years of practice, Jessica has led audit engagements, including worldwide audits of large European corporations, under both IFRS and US GAAP.
Jessica is an integral part of Forum W at Moss Adams as the Los Angeles Office Co- Champion.
Jessica has served as the LA office Champion for almost four years and done an exceptional job sharing the business case, and with the support of the Forum W committee, driving action in the LA office. Our Forum W Mission is to make Moss Adams more successful at attracting, developing, retaining, and advancing women. Since launching Forum W, we’ve seen increasing numbers of talented women reach top levels at our firm. But Forum W’s mission is larger. It’s about valuing diversity, paying it forward, and changing our industry from the inside out.
Through impactful initiatives, Jessica has been able to keep the Los Angeles office ranked as one of our top offices based on positive results on the internal employee engagement survey. She’s able to successfully lead the Los Angeles steering committee to consistently deliver high quality events, and keep Forum W top of mind with effective communication strategies, which can be difficult in a large office such as Los Angeles.
A few highlights of what Forum W Los Angeles has accomplished since Jessica has been one of the office champions:
In addition to her active and vital role on Forum W, Jessica demonstrates strong coaching and mentoring skills with those she works with. As a career advisor, she acts as an agent for her advises by helping them understand what is expected at their level and how to continue to grow and develop. She has invested in spending time with several advisees to help them create their “Partner Plan” – a process in which senior managers identify key goals and growth areas and seek regular feedback so that they can advance to the partner level. She provides constructive feedback and coaching to not only her advisees, but individuals on all of her teams and she serves as both a formal and informal mentor and sponsor to several folks in the region. As a mentor, Jessica is a great sounding board for her mentees and is able to share her own personal experiences as a mother of two young daughters to help other women and men in their development and struggles with work life integration.
