Jie is a CPA and a Partner with Petrinovich Pugh & Company, LLP (PP&Co). PP&Co was founded in 1951 as is a full-service accounting firm serving the Silicon Valley and clients worldwide for over 60 years. Jie relocated to the United State from Beijin in 1996. She has been with the firm for over 15 years. Jie is the Chair of PP&Co’s International Practice Group and the Education Committee and is a member of AICPA, CalCPA, and Society of Trust and Estate Practioners (STEP). Jie is also very active in local communities. She is the Treasuer of Silicon Valley Planned Giving Council Board of Directors, a member of the History San Jose Finance Committee, a member of the PrimeGlobal Women’s Leadership Conference Planning Committee, and a member of the CalCPA Asian Business Forum Planning Committee. Jie is fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English.

Her specialties include the following: Assisting International start-up companies with accounting and tax needs; helping international investors with tax planning and tax compliance; pre-immigration tax planning for EB-5 investors and other interested parties; income tax planning and compliance for domestic business entities and individuals; estate and gift tax planning and compliance; and trust and probate accounting.

Jie finds the diversity in cultures and complexity of the tax laws related to international tax very appealing. It is her interest and enthusiasm that drives her commitment to provide stellar services to PP&Co’s international clients.
