Sunnyvale CPA Recognized For Contributions to Accounting

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. - Leonard Williams, CPA, of Sunnyvale, Calif., has received the California Society of CPAs' Saul Braverman Award for exceptional contributions to the accounting profession in the tax field.

Since 1998, Williams has presented at and been actively involved in the California CPA Education Foundation's Tax Update and Planning Conference held by the CPA Education Foundation, both as a presenter and a key member of the planning committee. He also makes tax presentations to numerous groups, including the San Jose Real Estate Board and the Tri-County Apartment Association.

Williams has lectured at community colleges about tax matters and served as an adjunct faculty member for what is now California State University, East Bay. His tax column regularly appears in California CPA, CalCPA's monthly member magazine.

A CalCPA member since 1976, Williams is a past president of CalCPA's Peninsula Silicon Valley Chapter. He is the owner of Leonard W. Williams, CPA/PC, in Sunnyvale.
