CalCPA Sacramento Chapter Elects New President

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. — Lynne Walline, CPA, of Sacramento has been elected president of the Sacramento Chapter of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA) for 2005–06. Walline succeeds Joseph St. Angelo, CPA, of Orangevale.

Previously Walline was the chapter’s vice president. She also has been the chapter’s secretary-treasurer and its bulletin editor.

The CalCPA Sacramento Chapter serves more than 1,800 members in Alpine, Amador, Sacramento and Solano counties. They specialize in a broad range of services — from business consulting and personal financial planning to tax and estate planning. Some of the activities the chapter plans for the coming months include a scholarship night and sessions on new tax regulations and estate and financial planning.

Walline is the audit principal for Chapman & Co., CPAs. She is a past president of the Sacramento chapter of the American Society of Women Accountants and former treasurer of the Sacramento County Taxpayers’ League.

Walline has a bachelor’s degree in history from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.

Joining Walline on the board of the CalCPA Sacramento chapter are Gregory Verdon (vice president) of Gregory Verdon & Co., Sacramento; Conrad Davis (secretary-treasurer) of Ueltzen & Co., Sacramento; and Jeffrey Gardner (bulletin editor) of Jeffrey M. Gardner, CPA, Sacramento.
