REGISTRATION STATUS: Online Registration for this event is closed. Please contact your Program Associate or Customer Services.

The San Fernando Valley CPA / Business Managers Technical Committee of the California Society of CPAs is pleased to invite you to a special full afternoon program entitled "Divorce: Easing the Financial Pain."

We all have clients who may face, or who have faced the trials and tribulations of Divorce. While most of the emotional and spiritual issues surrounding divorce may be outside the purview of accountants and business managers, many aspects of the break-up of a marriage involve legal and financial considerations which impact significantly upon the income, cash flow, balance sheet, taxes and legal status of our clients. The CPA or Business Manager is often one of the first points of contact for an individual who is facing such a life-altering event.

This program is designed to help identify areas with which financial advisors may be able to assist, in order to mitigate potential legal and economic hardships in the lives of their clients facing divorce.
