Election year 2010 will see the introduction of legislation that will impact you, your clients or your employer. Legislators are not always familiar with the CPA profession's unique environment—CPA Day at the Capitol on Jan. 20 is your chance to familiarize your representatives.

You'll educate legislators on CPA issues before they vote and establish meaningful relationships that ultimately will create a more favorable business environment in California. You'll also have a chance to discuss how legislators can bring CalCPA's financial literacy programs to their districts.
