About the Author: Steven M. Goldberg, Esq. is a partner at Friedemann Goldberg LLP in Santa Rosa, California, specializing in sophisticated estate planning, estate and trust administration, tax planning, business, and business succession planning. He is certified as a specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization and the author of "Business Entity Valuation Planning Strategies," Chapter 18, California Estate Planning, CEB (2007). He is also an Accredited Estate Planner by the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils. He has authored numerous articles and spoken at a variety of continuing education seminars.

Mr. Goldberg has also been named in Worth Magazine's Top 100 Attorneys list. He is a member of the California State Bar Taxation Section and the California State Bar Trusts and Estates Section, as well as a member of the Redwood Empire Estate Planning Council, the Sonoma County Bar Association and the San Francisco Bar Association. Mr. Goldberg received his law degree in 1984 from Boalt Hall, University of California, Berkeley. Mr. Goldberg is AV rated by Martindale Hubbell.
