Jessica R. Roster, CPA
Jessica R. Roster, CPA, has specialized experience providing audit and accounting services to employee benefit funds, labor organizations and not-for-profits. She provides services to more than 35 pension and health and welfare funds with more than 25,000 participants and $1.3 billion in total assets. She supervises payroll compliance testing programs for 15 families of trust funds. She also teaches courses for industry associations about the pros and cons of starting a business, recordkeeping, and the distinctions and tax implications between legal classifications such as sole proprietorship and incorporation. With her passion for technology, Roster became the leader of Lindquist LLP’s audit technology group after spearheading one of its most important projects: the conversion of thousands of pages of records and information to a paperless system. In addition to technology, her passion for learning makes her as excellent a trainer as she is a leader. Roster helped develop and structure Lindquist’s internal training program to ensure its team has the expertise to handle the critical issues clients care most about. Sharing what she has learned, Roster also serves as an active mentor to help other employees be their best, too. Roster’s professional memberships include the AICPA, CalCPA, and the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans.
