Harrell Remodeling, a Residential Design + Build firm in Palo Alto, is looking for the right person to be our next Finance and Human Resources Manager.  

You have the following attributes:

  • A minimum 5 years experience in a supervisory accounting role. 
  • Polished appearance, articulate communication skills and an excellent ability to work with all types of people.
  • Proficiency with accounting software, Outlook, Excel.
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently and be self-directed, yet multi-task numerous projects.
  • Positive attitude, confident, resourceful and self-motivated.
  • CPA designation preferred.
  • Construction accounting experience preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Human Resources and associated labor regulations

The Finance & Human Resources Manager position oversees and manages the financial aspects of the business: In addition to financial reports, this includes analytical reports, cash management, ESOP and 401K Administration, Insurance and Benefits Administration, and supervision of two staff.  The Manager possesses the technical accounting experience to manage all operations of the accounting department.  The Manager is responsible for the preparation, analysis and reporting of the monthly, quarterly and annual financials to the management team and others as required.  The Manager is responsible for the Human Resources operations, including recruitment, training and development, terminations, performance evaluations, workers compensation, and legal issues.
