The Tax Filing Assistant performs administrative and clerical support work under the supervision of the Assistant Executive Director. This position follows all established procedures and is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the Tax Filing Support Center such as analysis and filing of association and tax-exemption documents with agencies such as the Attorney General’s Office, IRS, Franchise Tax Board and Secretary of State. Provides tax filing support, guidance and advice to more than 3,500 association PTAs that fall under our group exemption working collaboratively with volunteers, staff and government entities.
