Be prepared! Gain an understanding of the new reporting requirements under FASB ASU 2016-14. The FASB has issued a new accounting standards update specific to not for profits entities in an effort to improve financial statement presentation. The goal of FASB is to provide more useful information to donors, grantors, and other financial statement users. This course is designed to give you the tools and understanding to implement these changes.

Fausto Hinojosa, CFE, CPA
FAUSTO HINOJOSA, CPA, CFE Fausto is the Partner in charge of all audit and forensic consulting engagements for Price, Paige & Company. His practice is limited to audit and accounting, fraud investigation and consulting, and litigation support services. Fausto serves as the Managing Partner for the Firm and is responsible for providing strategic leadership in various areas. He has worked professionally in the accounting field since graduating from California State University, Fresno in 1990. He became a Certified Public Accountant in 1994 and a shareholder with Price, Paige & Company in 1997. He is a Certified Fraud Examiner and has investigated numerous allegations of fraud and has been designated a fraud expert in various legal proceedings. Fausto is a former Adjunct Professor at Fresno Pacific University where he taught an upper division auditing course. He also serves as Vice Chair for the State Board of Accountancy Qualifications Committee. He is a frequent lecturer for the Fresno Chapter of the California Society of CPA's and other professional organizations and civic groups regarding audit, accounting and fraud topics.
Henry Oum, CPA
Henry started his experience in accounting early, working as an accounting intern while at Duncan Polytechnical High School in 1998. He later graduated from Fresno State in 2004 and became a CPA in 2007. With a drive for finding solutions to the most difficult problems, Henry focuses his time on financial reporting, performing internal and external audits primarily for non-profit organizations and commercial businesses. Henry is also involved in both external and internal audits, and enjoys the unique projects that come with forensic accounting. Henry was the recipient of the “2009 Most Inspirational Professional” award of the Fresno Chapter of the California CPA Society. He is a past president for the CPA Society, Fresno Chapter and is the current treasurer of Fresno’s Storyland/Playland.
