Deepa serves privately held clients in the construction and technology industries. She has extensive experience advising a host of construction companies including painting, commercial, residential, and paving contractors. Her technology experience includes software, hardware, semiconductor and medical devices companies. She helps clients navigate complex accounting issues encountered in their domestic as well as international operations, and is well versed in employee benefit plan audits. Deepa worked in public accounting in India. Andrea Cope is a partner on the business enterprise service team at Burr Pilger Mayer, and leads its client accounting services group. She has over 30 years of experience providing accounting, tax and financial management services to businesses and their owners. Natalie Quan is a Manager at Berger Lewis Accountancy Corp. She began with Berger Lewis in 2004 and has quickly climbed from staff accountant, to senior accountant, to Audit manager. She is described as having the "last to leave" attitude on any project, and has proven herself to be a great role model and exemplary leader with a strong team ethic. Okorie Ramsey is the vice president, finance compliance officer and SOX, for Kaiser Foundation Health Plan, Inc. and Kaiser Foundation Hospitals. In this role, he is advancing the finance compliance program and enhancing the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and Model Audit Rule compliance processes, procedures and tools to support Kaiser Permanente’s commit to adherence with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, internal policies and SOX and MAR standards. Ramsey is a thoughtful leader who acts strategically and operates with a focus on people, process and controls to achieve financial and operational effectiveness. Prior to this role, he served as the director and managing director of Sarbanes/Oxley and financial governance for the Northern California (NCAL) region of Kaiser Permanente, where he oversaw a team responsible for strengthening the internal control environment within the NCAL region through advisory support to business partners with the responsibility for development of practical and sustainable internal controls. He also facilitated the development and maintenance of regional policies and implemented a people development and management training program for the NCAL controller’s group, as well as provided oversight and support to the NCAL finance transformation team. Prior to joining Kaiser Permanente, Ramsey was an advisory senior manager at Ernst & Young LLP. He also held management roles with Robert Half International, Andersen LLP and Coopers & Lybrand LLP. Gina Snyder has earned two master’s degrees, in Education, and Career Development. She worked 15 years as a career counselor at Saint Mary's College of California, Moraga. Gina was an instructor at UC Berkeley Extension for 10 years teaching career development to college admissions counselors. Gina is a certified True Colors trainer, Personality Lingo® trainer, and an MBTI® Master Practitioner (Myers Briggs Type Indicator). She uses these personality type tools to help individuals better understand themselves and others, and to foster team building. Gina is also a business etiquette consultant. Her workshops in reception, networking and dining etiquette help companies and individuals understand the importance of manners in developing and enhancing business relationships. Gina served on the Vallejo School board for 12 years. She is a Rotarian and is past president of her local chapter of P.E.O. (Philanthropic Educational Organization), that offers scholarships for women. She is married to retired surgeon Tom Snyder. They have two sons who are Foreign Service Officers and serve around the world. Gina has worked at US Embassies conducting workshops to promote teamwork between American and local staff.
