Michael W Ammermon, CFE, CPA, DABFA
Michael Ammermon, CPA, CFE, DABFA is a sole practitioner in Laguna Niguel, California. He has 17 years of governmental, non-profit and private sector financial, forensic, fraud, audit and litigation support experience.

Mr. Ammermon has performed numerous financial fraud and abuse examinations in both the public and private sectors. The primary focus of his practice is K-12 school district and community college clients. He is often requested by law firms representing governmental clients to serve as the designated financial expert. While working for these governmental clients, he assists local law enforcement in providing a basis for possible suspect arrest and has been instrumental in preparing gathered evidence for use in prosecution. Mr. Ammermon has extensive experience in ASB fraud detection, California charter school auditing, charter school close-out audits and many other government-related alleged fraud and abuse examinations.

Mr. Ammermon is a member of CalCPA, the AICPA, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, American College of Forensic Examiners and the AICPA Peer Review.
