Join the San Diego chapter for a virtual, interactive round-table discussion to discuss updates on international tax compliance! 
The committee co-chairs will lead the discussion on the most recent IRS guidance with respect to international taxpayers, including due dates for tax returns and current penalty procedures with respect to international informational returns (i.e., Form 3520). In addition, the group will address the guidelines issued with respect to individuals and Covid-19, such as the additional alternatives to qualify for the foreign earned income exclusion or exclude days of presence in the U.S. for the substantial presence test. Lastly, the participants are encouraged to bring their questions with respect to the 2019 filing season for taxpayers with international activities.


  • Recognize international tax relief provisions for clients with respect to tax year 2019
  • Identify planning opportunities for 2020
  • Determine any additional steps required in order to complete 2019 filings for clients
