We used to only have to worry about fighting computer viruses. In the past three years, whole new worlds of computer "scumware" have been developed and released to attack unsuspecting computer users. Foremost have been spyware and adware, as well a variety of programs designed to do bad things to your systems (generically "malware").
Listed below are sites describing these programs, as well as resources for defending your self against their threats. As these programs mature, they are starting to combine protection aspects from more than one area (i.e. virus programs that also find and repair spyware and adware).
