CBA Closes Office

The CBA office is closed to the public until further notice. As a result, individuals may experience delays when trying to reach our staff. For the fastest service, applicants and licensees should email the appropriate CBA unit. The attached document describes the scope of work for each unit and provides the appropriate email addresses.
 
During this time, the Department of Consumer Affairs’ Consumer Information Center is helping to manage the CBA’s call volume and is directing callers to email the appropriate CBA unit.

Package and Mail Delivery Instructions
The CBA is currently unable to accept mail (including applications and payments, for example) or other deliveries at its office. Instead, please send all mail and deliveries to:

Electronic Document Submission and Renewal Payment Option
Individuals may scan and email to the CBA any document, except for:
  • Transcripts and foreign credential evaluations
  • Applications for initial CPA licensure
In addition, licensees and firms renewing their license are encouraged to pay their renewal fee online and submit their application and continuing education documentation via email to RenewalApp@cba.ca.gov.
